A mountain to climb

In my Sisyphean attempt to tackle my personal Mount TBR I aim not only to read randomly, as the mood takes me, but also to find excuses to read particular titles using, for example, reading events.

We’re now halfway through the year – midsummer is not long gone – and I haven’t thought to note any anniversaries . . . apart from one.*

So, on looking through my shelves for what titles remain outstanding but are related to the centenaries of authors and books, I’ve come up with the following draft list.
